Position Overview
STS Technical Services is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of work experience in avionics, with a preference for candidates with corporate jet or commercial aircraft experience. Military aircraft maintenance experience, particularly with Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections, is a plus.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in avionics or substantiated equivalent experience.
- Corporate jet aircraft or commercial aircraft experience preferred.
- Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License is preferred.
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certification preferred.
- Certification from Avionics, Electric A/C Technical school or equivalent military training is preferred.
- Must possess their own tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be comfortable with 12-hour shift work, including days, nights, and weekends.
