Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Electrician / Avionics Technician to support aircraft electrical modification programs. The technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, modifying, and troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and wiring schematics.
The role involves fabrication and installation of electrical wiring, harnesses, and coaxial cables on aircraft. The technician will perform system testing, continuity and voltage checks, connector terminations, and operational verification of electrical systems. Responsibilities also include assisting with aircraft inspections, maintaining detailed maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, FOD prevention, and tool control procedures.
Candidates must have strong experience reading and interpreting aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints, along with proficiency using electrical test equipment and ground support equipment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft electrical or avionics experience
- Experience with aircraft wiring installation, modification, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Experience using multimeters, calibration tools, and electrical test equipment
- Must be willing to work any shift or schedule
- Must be able to pass DOT drug screening
- Must be US Citizen / US Person
Preferred:
- Experience with C-130 aircraft electrical modifications
- Heavy aircraft wiring and harness routing experience.
