Electronic AssemblerJob Description
The Electronic Assembler works under limited direction and supervision, responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying the production of electronic or mechanical products, parts, equipment, and systems. This includes computer equipment, instrumentation, digital/analog electronic products, test equipment, and electro-mechanical products, applying principles and theories of electronics and electrical circuitry.
Shift and Pay
6 am -3:30 pm M-F
9/80 schedule (off every other Friday)
$17-23/hr - based on experience
Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production of electronic or mechanical products, parts, equipment, and systems.
- Apply principles and theories of electronics and electrical circuitry.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Use manufacturing and engineering instructions for testing assembled electronic or mechanical units.
- Interpret and work in accordance with work orders, drawings, schematics, functional and acceptance test procedures, failure reports, manuals, and all other applicable engineering and production specifications.
- Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
Qualifications.- Proficiency with hand tools.
- soldering experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- On-the-job training provided, with certification in soldering available.
