The Engineering Graduate Trainee Programme is designed to provide passionate graduates a pathway for professional development and the opportunity to help manage one of the most technologically advanced fleet of aircraft in the world. Depending upon the type of degree and area of interest, the Engineering Graduate Trainee Programme offers four specialist streams to choose from – Technical, Inventory Management, Maintenance Planning, and Operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the Cathay’s Engineering Department and the organisation – purpose, structure, strategy, values and drivers
- Acquire profound understanding and accomplish all learning objectives for each rotation at different teams and departments
- Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders / teams for assigned projects with the demonstration of collaboration and teamwork
- Contribute innovations and new ideas to leverage latest technology as an enabler to create competitive advantage for the business
- Assist on ad hoc tasks where required
Requirements
- 2025 graduate with a bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline; Or graduate before 2025 with maximum 2 years of working experience
- For Technical stream – Holder of HKIE Scheme “A” accredited degree would be an advantage
- For Operational stream – Holder of HKAR-147 Certificate of Recognition or HKAR-66 Cat B1.1 or B2 knowledge examinations and practical assessments would be an advantage
- Right to work in Hong Kong (eligible visa holders are also welcome, including via the Top Talent Pass Scheme (TTPS) and Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG))
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work as a team
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
