What You Will Do

Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge systems.

Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

What You Will Learn

A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures.

Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.

Software lifecycle practices for defense projects.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

Experience developing object-oriented software using Java or C++.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is also required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software using Java / C++ or modern software development language.

Experience with OOA/D and UML or similar design language/notation. 

Familiarity with Agile or working knowledge of lifecycle processes including Scrum, and Continuous Integration.

Possess skills to handle fast pace and dynamic product development environment including engagement with systems and electrical engineers.

Experience working closely and directly within a team environment.

Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.

Clearance Information:

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
