Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for HoneywellInternational, Inc. (Atlanta, GA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:       
Support ISC functional teams (Operations, Finance, Quality, Materials, Engineering, etc.) to deliver productivity savings resulting from technical implementation of Industrial Automation and Digitization projects.
Support the Smart manufacturing solution design and development to improve the factory target KPIs - OTTR, First Pass Yield, Cycle time, OEE, DLE, PPM etc.
Support Automation / Digitization viability analysis review meetings, and confirm project is viable financially and technically and propose improvement opportunities by benchmarking the industry best standards.
Design and develop the proof of concept and propose technical solutions to the senior leadership.
Optimize manufacturing process by implementing lean principals prior to automating and digitizing the as-is process.
Assisting factory AME groups and site leaders with the identification of opportunities for Automation and Digitization.
Identify, define, and scope the smart factory and automation initiatives - Business case creation, ROI analysis, Requirements analysis, technical design and solutioning and Project management.
Work as a part of a cross functional IT / OT team to ensure digital solutions are easily scalable and secure by adhering to the Honeywell security standards.
Ensure program success, identify risks, handle escalations and work on implementation and postimplementation value realization for the business.
Contribute to schedule creation and project resource assessment.
End to end smart factory service delivery ownership.

 

 

ADDITIONALINFORMATION:    
Job Site: Atlanta, GA
40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:          
Qualified applicants musthave a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering,Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or relatedfield and one (1) year of engineering experience. Alternatively, the employerwill accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in stated fields andthree (3) years of engineering experience. Must possess one (1) year ofexperience in the following: engineering experience successfully developingmultiple digital solutions through its full lifecycle; Implementing Automated solutions;and managing highly complex engineering projects. Must possess experience with:Sustaining engineering capacities; Industrial Automation; and IT/OTapplications and infrastructure. Up to 75 international and domestic travelrequired. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
