You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Boulder City, NV OR Huntsville, AL locations on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software solutions that enhance the performance and safety of aerospace systems. You will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborating with a team of talented engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implementation of data acquisition and control firmware utilizing the C programming language and running on microcontrollers
• Design and implementation of system controller software utilizing the C++ programming language and running on Linux or RTOS
• Design and implementation of HMI visualization and logging software utilizing the Java programming language and running on Windows/Linux
• Implementation of data post-processing scripts utilizing Python
• Work cross-functionally with mechanical engineering to design, validate, and characterize full prototypes
• Up to 10 travel to customer sites to support integration of prototypes into larger systems
• Contribute to early field failure analysis and improvement analysis for released prototypes based on customer feedback as well as data analysis

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 1+ years of experience in software development
