Description:We are Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin is looking for world class
talent in Airframe Design to be a part of the
Structures Design team that will carry on our
tradition making history in advanced aircraft
development.
This exciting position is located in Marietta,
Georgia and will support the legendary Skunk
Works team as a Design engineer. Tasks may
include detail modeling, airframe structural
configuration layouts and detail design
including structural layouts, preliminary sizing,
joint layouts and part design with CATIA/3DX,
utilizing metallic and/or composite materials.
Execute changes to CATIA models, drawings
and other supporting documents in support of
the product, participating in trade studies,
creating and maintaining ICDs (Interface
Control Documents), and coordination with
subcontractors and other Integrated Product
Teams. Development of technical solutions to
complex problems which requires the regular
use of ingenuity and creativity while mentoring
and guiding the work of junior engineers in an
unofficial lead-like capacity.

Basic Qualifications:
--Bachelor or above degree in Engineering
-- Aerospace/Airframe/Structural Layout, Detail Part and Assembly Design experience
--Experience with Group Leadership/Project Management
--Experience with Configuration Management
Desired Skills:
--Bachelor or above degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, or Mechanical
-- 3DX, CATIA V5, or Solidworks experience
--Experience with metallic and/or composite structural design
--Experience with Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint), Confluence and Jira.
--Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment and across different sites

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
