What does this role look like?

Lockheed Martin Space has an excellent opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join our fast-paced, dynamic team engaged in designing the Missile test and checkout equipment for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program.

You will be involved in the design, and development of test equipment / systems for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including NetAcquire System Development, RF, Telemetry, Electro-Optical and Radiation Detection Equipment; radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.

You will design automated test equipment (ATE), electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test.




Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Experience developing/designing STE systems using NetAcquire
• Experience developing/designing card/box level STE.
• Experience performing HW/SW integration of card/box level STE.
• Experience with cable and electronic system board design and troubleshooting.
• Automated Test System Hardware / Software design and integration experience.
• Provide technical leadership to cross functional teams including Electronics & Mechanical Hardware, Software and Systems engineers.




We are looking for you to have:

• 9 - 15 years of professional experience for this role.
• Must have at least an active DoD Interim Secret or higher clearance to be considered for this position. Thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Considered an emerging authority.

• Significant Automated Test Equipment or Special Test Equipment using NetAcquire hardware.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
