Job Description:

Tasks

Your tasks as Customer Service Engineer may include, among others:

  • Technical advice for customer service
  • Determine new requirements when creating work-scopes for customers and arrange for workshop compliant working documents
  • Monitoring and assessing the operating behavior and results (technical and operational) of engines, modules, components and individual parts
  • Cooperation with external WT departments such as flight operations, aircraft maintenance/overhaul, manufacturers, other airlines and customers in a supportive capacity
  • Create "Released by" certificate as design engineer for the transferred CRAS motor sample
  • Tracking and investigating complaints and faults and authorizing appropriate remedial action, including limit overruns
  • Define quality assurance measures for the overhaul and maintenance process

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College/bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in the field of aircraft or engine construction required
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in engineering on commercial aircraft engine types desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German and other language desirable
