Job Description:

Purpose of Position
Under the direction of the Data Engineering Manager, The Data Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and on-going management of the NetJets data pipeline processes.With limited guidance from senior team members, this role will utilize industry best practices to assemble and transform data from disparate systems into data stores.The ideal candidate will be curious and enthusiastic by the prospect of delivering accurate data to our stakeholders.This position will collaborate with business and team members to understand requirements and design robust data solutions.



Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test data solutions to support enterprise reporting
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting/monitoring of existing processes
  • Collaborate with business and team members to understand/document requirements
  • Documentation and/or meeting with partners to support NetJets initiatives
  • Continuous learning and curiosity toward process improvement initiatives

  • Familiar with cloud data platforms/PaaS environments (ie AWS, SnowFlake)
  • Development experience with at least one ETL tool; Informatica or Wherescape is preferred
  • Has an understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts
  • Has experience utilizing APIs for data ingestion
