Responsibilities:
- Lead work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Lead and coordinate work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
- Lead work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Oversee the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solve problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Research technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
- Make recommendations for technology investments.
- Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
Qualifications:
- Currently possess a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 3+ years’ experience in an electrical engineering role
- Secret Clearance
- Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- 3+ years’ experience in design, integration, and test of electrical systems
- 2+ years’ experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
- 2+ years’ experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems
- Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
- Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
