Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Learning & Development Team. As the Specialist L&D – Instructional Designer you will be working as part of a small team and is responsible for the development of a rapidly growing portfolio of e-learning products. The incumbent applies Instructional Design theories and Project Manage the content development
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze learning aims and objectives and work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design solutions.
- Apply instructional design theories and practice in developing the storyboard and design conceptualization. Revise and rewrite content to ensure learning needs are defined.
- Incorporate multimedia assets like, audio, video, animation, demonstration, and simulation. Develop assessment items to test learning objectives.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing a range of instructional materials including, eLearning, Virtual Learning, references guide, scenario case studies, assessments and evaluations.
- Demonstrate effective course development and evaluation skills. Manage projects from end to end and coordinate with stakeholders, SMEs, and internal team
- Discuss ideas for images, graphics and animations with eLearning team before proceeding with development.
- Produce well written audio and video scripts to produce high quality course assets.
- Work effectively with colleagues to create compelling and engaging deliverables
- Plan and record time, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects.
- Raise any project concerns or issues

QualificationsWe are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our L&D Team who can recognize themselves in the points below.
- Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Instructional Designer & Project Manager experience with various e-learning projects is mandatory
- Knowledge of mobile learning principles preferred
- Aviation or IT or Training industry experience will be an advantage
- Experience working with Adobe eLearning Suit is essential
- Should have a Critical eye for detail.
- Should have a logical approach to fault finding, developing solutions and taking corrective actions.
- Adaptability to new tools and technologies is a must.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment will be an advantage
