- Skills in several of the following areas are required:
- C++/C#/C programming
- Algorithm development
- Software architecture
- Object oriented design
- User interface development
- OpenGL or Direct3D application development
- GLSL or other shader programming
- 3D computer graphics and algorithm development
- Strong physics and mathematics (especially geometry) capability
- Technical experience in any of the following is a plus:
- STL and or Boost libraries and data structures
- Design patterns and or multi threading experience
- real time, multiprocessing development
- Network programming
- 3D modeling and animation
- Game development – Unity, Unreal, Crytek, etc.
- 3rd Party API/SDK tool development in areas such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Presagis or ArcGIS
- Image processing and or texture tools – Photoshop, gimp
- Geographic information systems (GIS)
- Strong geometry and mathematics capability – Euclidean and projective geometry, matrix algebra, vector math
- Relational Databases – MySQL or PostgreSQL
- bash, Power Shell, Python, Perl or other scripting experience
- Computer system and network security
- MS Visual Studio
- Reading and using technical specifications
- Lean/Agile Software Development
- Sensor, night vision and or radar systems
- Physically based rendering
- GPU Computing
- MatLab
- Cygwin
- Unix/Linux
- JIRA, Confluence
- Optics, color or vision science
- Application knowledge in any of the following areas is a plus:
- IR and EO Sensors and Systems
- Radar
- Target tracking
- Display alignment systems
