Synopsis

The Engineering Officer Part Master is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of Etihad Airways part data within AMOS system. In addition, the officer ensures that part information is complete, consistent, and adheres to company standards, industry best practices, and airworthiness regulations to enhance part data processes and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining airworthiness and commercial control.

Accountabilities

•    Define, set up, and control part data (Part Number Master) within AMOS to influence operations, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance.
•    Ensure parts are set up with mandatory parameters (Parts Category, ATA, OEM code, UOM, Shelf life, etc.) as per industry standards.
•    Ensure correct effectivity and interchangeability are established for all parts.
•    Review and clean up part master data to maintain accuracy and relevance to airworthiness and material management.
•    Review, update, and define component assembly structure in AMOS.
•    Collaborate with CAMO, Technical Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate part definition in AMOS.
•    Work with Supply Chain to ensure part availability and cost-effectiveness.
•    Assist in resolving part data discrepancies or conflicts.
•    Identify opportunities to improve part data management systems and processes within AMOS.
•    Ensure and maintain compliance with the obligations stipulated in CAR M regulations, CAR X (SMS) and any other applicable regulations and requirements.
•    Support the Etihad Airways Safety and Quality and the GCAA Auditing Program and safety investigations and ensures its effectiveness.
•    Promote and maintain the Etihad airways safety culture as per the UAE GCAA Safety Management System CAR X – Include the Hazards and Risk Management within the Department.

Education & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or holder of an aircraft license Engineer.
•    Minimum of 1-2 years in a Continued Airworthiness Management Organization, particularly with knowledge in Part Master.
•    Good Knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements
