ENGINEERING STATION MANAGER - MAN/LPL/LBA
Aircraft Engineering Services is currently recruiting for a Station Manager to be based at Manchester Airport, to work in co-operation with our client airline, Ryanair.

Station Manager
Duties and responsibilities of Station Manager:
Reporting directly to the UK General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of Ryanairs Engineering Line Stations in MAN, LPL and LBA. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG’s and Third-Party Liaison.
- Manpower planning, recruitment, retention and staff performance management.
- Ensuring appropriate spares and equipment are available at each location.
- Budgeting, invoicing and negotiation/management of contracts with external suppliers/companies.
- Conducting regular base visits, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory (UK CAA and EASA) compliance.
- Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence
Experience and Qualifications of Station Manager:
We are looking for a motivated self-starter with managerial experience who is ready, willing and able to lead technical teams in a diverse and fast-changing environment. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent time management, with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress to Senior Management.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experienced in managing people, across various shifts and skill sets within aviation or engineering.
- Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
- Applicants must have unrestricted right-to-work in the UK, hold a valid Full-UK Driving Licence and be willing to travel.
