Responsibility:

Assistance with the overall production management and material movements of Ceramic Core Operations NPI projects. Generally, this includes injection, procedure development, technical troubleshooting, and movement of materials within PCC Ceramics facility.

Requirements:

  • Injection NPI Production trial parts
  • Work with Engineers to manage off shift part movement of trial parts Daily report to Engineering and Manufacturing of NPI/Trial status
  • Make sure blocks are pulled and inspected (T-Hawk) before trial starts
  • Work with Engineering to develop injection, 1st Fire and Dip procedures.
  • Review trials and paperwork with off shift operators (Injection, Kiln, seal Patch and Dip)
  • Work with Engineering to maintain firing block quality and manufacturing for NPI Trials
  • Work with Engineering to improve block making process (Audits, Procedures)
  • Basic Robot Troubleshooting
  • Clean pins on presses
