Responsibilities - your mission 

 

Retrofit team:

  • Analysis of the As Is Retrofit and Supply Chain Management processes and creation/development of descriptive E2E flowcharts for those processes;

  • Create a standardized process for additional Non Recurring Costs from Suppliers;

  • Support on a Version 2.0 of a Workload Driver Model for the Retrofit and Supply Chain Management Team;

  • Support on additional projects/processes to be developed/handed over by the Process Operational Manager team members;

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, via a critical and efficiency/automation-driven mindset.

Engineering Services team:

  • Cross-domain support to the Engineering Function;

  • Business Operations support;

  • Definition and monitoring of Smart and Actionable KPIs (Key Performance Indicators);

  • Mapping and optimizing processes;

  • Liaising with the Engineering and Finance functions;

  • Supporting Engineering Domains with Process Automation;

  • Alignment between Budget - Forecast - Resources;

Customs:

  • Analysis of engineering technical data found in several Airbus databases (e.g. drawings, maintenance manuals, standards) to decide and justify the tariff codes (HS codes) to assign to the different systems and parts.

  • Manage missing customs data requests towards appropriate stakeholders, using SAP logistics solutions. 

  • Support requests from non-technical stakeholders in the supply chain, making use of own engineering/technical knowledge.

  • Perform data analytics on Customs flows to derive conclusions and support decision-making at different levels.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, via a critical and efficiency/automation-driven mindset.

Cost Engineering:

  • Prepare detailed Recurring Costs calculations, for all Airbus commercial programmes;

  • Analyze gaps between estimated parts and supplier contracted prices;

  • Perform cost analysis, using different approaches (analytical, parametrical, analogic);

  • Support Design to Cost initiatives (use of new materials, different manufacturing processes, change of design);

  • Cross support to Procurement, Engineering & Program;

 

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have 

 
  • Recent graduates, bachelor students (from the 2nd year onwards) and mastering students;

  • Relevant degree for the area

  • Attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Integrity;

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written  

  • Ability to work with all organizational level, stakeholder management 

  • Language: English - Advanced level 

  • Another European language is a plus
