Description:Responsible for more than one functional area in Facilities and Environmental, such as maintenance, facilities engineering, construction, chemical and property management.
Performs tasks related to the overall management and operations of facilities, including: material inventory, maintenance and construction.
May assist with the preventive maintenance planning to include the oversite of the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) of facilities equipment from inception to disposal.
Monitor work performed by vendors and/or subcontractors; determines adequacy of work relative to job specifications/scope, and recommends corrective actions as required.
Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment, facilities, to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Performs a variety of tasks in the controlling and monitoring of chemicals within the company facility or manufacturing production organization in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Properly stores, removes and disposes of waste chemicals; inspects hazardous waste production and storage units; and maintains operational logs.
Basic Qualifications:
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
General application of standard concepts and principles.
Knowledge of Environmental Regulations
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
Ability to identify and procure materials
Forklift Operator
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, and industrial health and safety laws.
Ability to work with ARCHIBUS facilities work order system
Knowledge of construction building codes and safe work practices
Inventory control and material handling knowledge.
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
Ability to coordinate contractors

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
