Job Description:

Description:Provide technical advice, instruction and assistance in the assembly, operation, maintenance, calibration, repair and modification of L-Band radars such as TPS-59, TPS77, and FPS117 and ancillary systems. Additional services shall be provided to facilitate the test/evaluation of modifications/engineering changes for future installation, and support for the integration, calibration, and training associated with the fielding of modifications. The work location is in Syracuse, New York, working as a member of the Ground-Based Radar Team. Assignment includes, but not limited to:
1.Working with Radar test team at Cazenovia and EP15 Facility.
2.Assist the radar GFE custodians with management of Government spares and material.
3.Traveling to other customer radar sites to provide technical assistance as required.
4. Domestic and International travel required to meet business needs and requirements. International travel to High Security countries when required.
5. Participate in domestic and international radar installations and checkouts.
Basic Qualifications:
1.Experience troubleshooting and repairing L-Band Radar Systems.
2. Ability to operate electronic test equipment used to troubleshoot and repair L-Band Radar Systems.
3.Effective interfacing and dialogue with internal and external Customers
4.Effective communication (written and oral)
5.Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management
6.Effective utilization of Microsoft Application Tools

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $58,200 - $111,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $67,000 - $126,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
