We deliver innovative, time-critical, SME-level technical expertise to the C4ISR family of fielded ground systems that support our customers in the field. Our Field Engineers provide technical support to operations forward environments and sustain and maintain the infrastructure and integration activities for our delivered C2 Ground Systems.

THE WORK

In this critical role, you will:

- Provide SME level field expertise to the sustained operations and maintenance of the fielded ground systems.

- Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting during operations to include working issues at the tier 1/ tier 2 system levels.

- Perform technical operations checklists for the operational infrastructure and support training activities on a need-based schedule

- Provide a direct link between the delivered systems to our remote customers and the factory engineers that facilitate system changes.

You will be a member of a mission-critical field engineering team working on a high operations tempo program that serves our Lockheed Martin Skunkworks™ customer.

We have factory engineering support for our fielded products out of our Lockheed Martin RMS - C2 Ground Team located in Littleton, CO.

You are an experienced, level-headed field innovator and integrator with a background in working in critical availability infrastructure environments that are burdened by an aggressive operations tempo and a tiered support network for troubleshooting the systems and their infrastructure.

RMSC6ISR
Basic Qualifications:
Must currently hold an active DoD Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.

Must currently posses an active certification that qualifies for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 requirements. (CompTIA Security+, CISA, etc.).

Software installation, integration, testing and patching experience in a remote infrastructure environment.

Hardware field support and COTS equipment removal and replacement.

Solid working knowledge of virtual server systems infrastructure: Cisco Nessus switches, Cisco routers, virtual systems hardware/software (Hypervisor/VMWare).
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with the use of engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, technical guides and manufacturers manuals.

Tier 1/2 IT Customer service in a high operations tempo environment.

Network Administration with Cisco Routing and Switching devices.

Systems Server Administration (Cisco ESXi Hosts, VMWare 6.6 virtual server environment)

Windows Server 2012/2016 Active Directory and DNS Domain expertise

Device Firmware update installation and obsolescence IT cycle control.

Experience in configuration management (CM) database creation and control.

Experience with Audio/Visual (AV) distribution and dissemination technologies and practices.

Remote Field engineering experience.

Data Link technology experience.

Backup & recovery experience (NetApp and Oracle RAID).

Knowledgeable in tech devices for intercom and telecommunications.

Logistics, inventory and factory reach-back reporting activities.

Responsible for customer briefings and system status updates to local leadership.

User account creation and account control, Tier 1/2 JIRA database experience.

Experience with CAT6 ethernet, Multi-mode and single-mode fiber cable installation and maintenance

Experience of supporting and/or working within the Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs, other Special Programs divisions internally or externally, and/or Special Access Programs (SAPs) are strongly desired.

This position will also be involved automation of the current test procedures, so familiarity with automation tools is strongly desired.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
