Description:C4SIR is looking for a proven and experienced technical leader to serve as the Global Command and Control (GC2) Sub-Market Segment Chief Engineer Manager within the RMS C4ISR Market Segment leading a portfolio of ~$~100M worth of programs.

The selected individual will be responsible for the technical performance and execution of all programs within this portfolio. This position is expected to be ~70 directly applied on programs with ~30 functional leadership responsibilities.

As the Sub-Market Chief Engineer Manager You Will:
-Partner with the Program Management and Integrated Engineering organization to lead the engineering program performance including attainment of cost, schedule, technical and quality goals.
-Have total engineering responsibility for the portfolio of programs within the portfolio.
-Ensure that technical integrity is maintained, right engineering rigor and discipline is applied on programs including effective, efficient, and continuous improvement of engineering process, tools, and metrics to manage the engineering content of programs, proposal are executable, and engineering technical, cost, schedule, and functional commitments within area of responsibility are met or exceeded.
-Be responsible for the development and execution of the GC2 IRAD investment and technology roadmap that is aligned with the broader C4ISR and RMS strategies. The Chief Engineer will have a staff of senior technical leads and architects.

Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• AOC, IAMD, and BMC2 Experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in systems engineering/architecture, allocation & derivation of requirements, design & development, Integration & Test with a thorough understanding of the entire engineering product life cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear guidance and direction to team and prioritizing competing requirements.
• Must have experience developing proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Statement of Works (SOWs), and Technical Specifications
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) to all levels in the corporation and proven ability to represent the organization on significant matters
• Prior experience leading definition of IRADs, development and execution of technology roadmaps
• Demonstrated leader who thinks strategically and proven success as a change agent driving positive changes through the organization
• Demonstrated experience successfully leading engineering teams and programs through effective use of metrics, process, and tools
• Demonstrated team player and proven success working cross-functionality and across the enterprise
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
• Proven leader who motivates, inspires, and teaches others.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $134,300 - $257,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
