The GMD Weapon System processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.

Basic Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; OR 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
 Ability to perform Maintenance Task Analysis for new system and component designs.
 Interpret and analyze technical drawings to provide
recommendations on system maintainability.
 Update task processes in PowerLOG-J database to include provisioning review.
 Coordinate with Technical Manual (TM) team on transition from commercial manuals to TM development.
 Interface with SMEs to gather critical data.
 Integrate with a team of mixed skills to complete complex tasks on time.
 Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance prior to start
 Possess the skill and ability to perform fairly complex tasks with minimal supervision
 Possess ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and system description documents
 Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
Desired Skills:
 Current active DoD Secret Clearance
 Ability to facilitate/support review boards
 Experience with XML, Arbor text and/or SGML
 Ability to stand up a Release Library and experience verifying that changes identified during board reviews are incorporated into documents and the Release Library
 Generating BOEs
 Possess an understanding of and ability to apply military technical order principles, concepts, practices, and standards
 Have existing knowledge of military aircraft technical order editing/writing processes
 The Maintenance Technician shall have a minimum of two years of depot forward maintenance experience
 Graduate of a commercial or military maintenance school or program
 Associate Certified Electronic Technician (CETs) certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
