This is a seven-month co-op beginning January 2025 - August 2025 and the work will be completed at the Santa Isabel site in Puerto Rico. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

What You Will Do

  • Support lean transformation efforts on the Manufacturing Areas
  • Implement usage of CORE tools for business processes
  • Utilize computer systems (e.g. work instructions, labor charging, prints, and standards)
  • Support initiatives for productivity improvement.
  • Perform time studies & value added work reviews
  • Promote mistake proofing solutions
  • Recognize and take steps to resolve work area issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. 
  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Reading, writing & math skills
  • Computer skills (MS Office; Word and Outlook)
  • Understand theory of industrial engineering.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Effectively communicate & interact with others at all levels
  • Handle multiple tasks at the same time
