Join the dynamic and fast-paced Everett ALIT Engineering Operations team and embark on an exciting journey as an Experienced Product Data Management Engineer! This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that supports all Boeing twin aisle programs, including the 767, 767-2C, 777, and 787 aircraft.

As a member of our team, you will have the chance to gain invaluable technical experience and airplane knowledge. Additionally, one of the open positions on this team offers the potential for international and domestic travel, providing you with the opportunity to broaden your horizons and collaborate with professionals from around the world.

We are seeking a candidate who possesses exceptional communication skills and able to convey complex ideas with clarity and conciseness. Your strong acumen in resolving technical issues will be instrumental in leading technical investigations and analyses, drawing insights from both internal and external information sources.

The team SOW includes the following:

  • Technical coordination and resolution of complex issues

  • Creates technical reports and presents findings to peer teams and leadership.

  • Represent the function at program and cross functional forums.

  • General project leadership and cross functional support

  • May involve international or domestic travel for one specific role on the team.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the development and management and performs limited analysis of process and product baselines.

  • Works under general direction to coordinate and conduct product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.

  • Performs routine analysis of product trades and/or changes and assists in the development of change proposals.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems, and tools.

  • Utilizes data gathered from customers to assist in the definition of Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software, and engineering design data systems.

  • Assists in the integration, routine analysis, and resolution of issues with engineering product structure.

  • Assists with the development and implementation of engineering technical program plans of limited scope including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned.

  • Works under general supervision.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Requires an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master). “ABET accreditation or an equivalent standard is required.

  • Comfortable in a leadership role, with a desire to grow leadership skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Broad understanding of the Engineering function and overall BCA value stream

  • Strong project management experience

  • Technical background in Boeing Product Structure (ENOVIA/PDM), Manufacturing Systems (CMES/Velocity), basic familiarity of airplane systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Motivated self-starter, proactive problem solver

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse team members.

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years related work experience, Master+12 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
