Your tasks and responsibilitiesCreate Finite Element (FE) Models of satellite structures, instruments and components. FE models have to be compliant to department standards and good practices
Conduct static and dynamic, linear and nonlinear structural analyses
Perform structural assessments by means of hand calculations
Prepare, support and evaluate mechanical tests
(Further-) develop analysis methods and processes
(Further-) develop tools in Excel or Matlab for the automatization of analysis pre-/ post processing tasks
Understand and prepare technical documentation in English or German
Desired skills and qualificationsEnrolled full-time student (d/f/m) within aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field of study
Good understanding of structural dynamics
First knowledge in Structural Finite-Element Analysis (dynamic analysis would be a plus)
Experience with MS Office (including Excel)
First experience with Finite-Element Analysis Software like Nastran and Hyperworks
Nice to have: Experience in programming with Matlab
English: fluent
Nice to have: German
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
