Job Description SummaryThe LEAP Reliability Engineer will be responsible for performing reliability or maintenance cost analysis in LEAP-1A, LEAP-1B and LEAP-1C Fleet Models. This will include delivering multidisciplinary tasks, and cooperating with Services, LCE, Systems, Finance and CTP organization to deliver expected results. This position offers development of statistical and analytical skills and gives an opportunity to link technical depth with the commercial side of the Aviation.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Performing reliability and maintenance analysis in LEAP Fleet Models and execute the result
  • Close cooperation with Fleet Model Owner and Product Owner
  • Work with big data, analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Give recommendations and lead solutions to meet the requirements
  • Deliver tasks related with Weibull creation, MonteCarlo simulation, SV cost calculations, productivity projects application, SV classification
  • Initiate and drive process improvements ideas
  • Assure proper documentation of assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with policies and standard procedures
  • Participate as a presenter in Technical Reviews
  • Taking part and driving LEAN activities

Qualifications:

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering
  • Technical knowledge of GE Aviation engine architecture
  • Understanding of the GE Engineering processes
  • Basic statistical and analytical knowledge
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office package (Excel, Power Point)
  • Fluency in English
