Aircraft Engineering Services are inviting applications for a Liaison Engineer to be based at Marseille Airport, working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europes largest airline.

Reporting directly to the Spanish General Manager, the successful candidate will be part of the management team responsible for the leadership and management of Ryanairs Engineering Line Stations across France. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG’s and Third-Party Liaison.
• Manpower planning, recruitment, retention and staff performance management.
• Ensuring appropriate spares and equipment are available at each location.
• Conducting regular base visits, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory (EASA) compliance.
• Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence
• Work directly with all parties to reduce AOGs, Hills on aircrafts
• Control the planning scheduled for each base (OPO, LIS, FAO)
• Help and keeping records of every associate application for EASA Part. 66 License
• Command and analyse internal promotions
• Plan and coordinate manpower for training purposes
• Human Resources task (annual leaves, month scheduling, training)
• Coordinate and report Management the upcoming news
• Prepare bases for internal and external audits
• Be part of the audits and solve possible findings
RequirementsWe are looking for a motivated self-starter who is ready, willing and able to manage technical teams in a diverse and fast-changing environment. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress to Senior Management.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership experience, capable of remotely managing diverse teams.
• Previous experience in Aviation Maintenance (EASA Part 145) is advantageous, but not essential.
• Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Applicants must have unrestricted right-to-work in the EU, hold a full Driving Licence and be able and willing to travel across our bases in France, Belgium, Morocco, Portugal and Spain.
