JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 3 (West Virginia)

LOCATION: Bridgeport, WV

PAY RATE: $56.00 - $66.00 per hour

Summary:

    Support the development, production, and delivery of aerostructure components and assemblies.

    Manage Engineering masters and operations work orders using SAP.

    Create part inspection checklists, first article inspections, and manufacturing planning documents.

    Prepare and review inspection sheets, change requests, purchase orders, and drawings.

    Develop bid packages, estimates, and quotes for business proposals.

    Provide technical support to the production floor, interpreting drawings and specifications.

    Interface with internal and external design engineering services.

    Prevent process bottlenecks and enhance manufacturing engineering processes.

    Follow established procedures and project execution processes.

    Meet individual and company objectives and metrics.

    Incorporate lean manufacturing principles and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

    BS degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace preferred).

    5+ years of experience in composite or metal aerostructure manufacturing and assembly.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    Experience with assembly sequencing and producibility using CAD software (SolidWorks or Catia5 preferred).

    Experience with ERP/MRP planning systems and bill of material analysis.

    Understanding of financial and scheduling metrics for program execution.

    Experience with metal and composite fabrication; avionics harnessing experience is a plus.

    Must be a U.S. Person.

Physical Requirements:

    Regular and predictable attendance is required

    Ability to work in composite, metal, and avionics manufacturing environments.

    Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

    Onsite work at WV.
