LOCATION: Savannah, GA

Summary:

    Develop detailed work instructions to optimize process efficiency and minimize defects in collaboration with Operations Engineers.

    Author DRDI/DMT rework instructions to support corrective actions.

    Maintain MBOM in SAP/Solumina/Corridor to ensure accurate assembly/installation as per Engineering definitions.

    Support make-or-buy proposals, evaluate vendors, participate in negotiations, and assist in resolving vendor issues.

    Conduct research and analysis to ensure project conformance to requirements and prepare justifications for equipment and facility needs.

    Perform producibility studies from engineering drawings and participate in Design for Manufacturing assessments.

    Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and generate necessary reports.

    Audit co-workers output to ensure compliance with defined procedures.

    Incorporate Lean Manufacturing Methodology and lead/coordinate project implementation across multiple organizations.

    Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to manufacturing methods.

    Support Safety, Sustainability, and Ergonomic initiatives and contribute to the development of the Business Continuity Plan.

    Ensure adherence to Quality policies and recommend/implement improvements.

    Maintain accurate daily/weekly activity status.

Required Skills:

    Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    Minimum of 18 months of Manufacturing Engineering, planning, or related technical experience.

    Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.

    Familiarity with Engineering configuration requirements, tooling, quality control, plant safety, blueprint reading, and shop math.

    Proficiency with computerized equipment, including CADAM, CATIA, Solumina, SAP, and Corridor.

    Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification or higher preferred.
