Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior who will help develop many best-in-class products and solutions in our Missiles and Fire Control business area in Camden, Arkansas.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Senior, your responsibilities will include:
•Develop tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
•Design and document your projects in accordance with company standards utilizing PTC Creo.
•Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes. Use your analysis and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment to meet production rate requirements. Document the production process to ensure design requirements are met.
•Research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
•Transition developing programs to production with increasing rates.
•Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and / or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and / or machines.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and detailed specifications
Ability to create statement of work for tooling based on requirements
Ability to work independently with limited oversight
Ability to create and maintain work instructions
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products
Knowledgeable of machine and tool mechanical design
Knowledgeable of general manufacturing and integration processes
Desired Skills:
Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME/ANSI Y14.5)
Proficient with MS Office software suite
Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, PTC Creo, or Solid Works 3D CAD software
Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in a manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable of tool design, fabrication, and implementation
Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Experience supporting multiple customers and fluctuating priorities in a collaborative and flexible environment
Experience setting up a production line
Ability to work in an ordnance facility
Ability to work with other functional groups to drive production
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
