Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a manufacturing
engineering intern to work in the Grand Prairie, TX (Dallas area) mechanical manufacturing shop. Responsibilities include solving manufacturing issues,
implementing process improvements, creating
manufacturing work instructions, and
implementing new technologies and tools into
the factory.

Seeking candidates who will be entering or are in their junior year.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors or
Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

The candidate must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills:
Ability to interpret drawings, electrical
schematics, wiring diagrams,product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data

SAP Experience

Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
Experience / Understanding of machining, assembly, welding, and other fabrication processes

Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint etc.

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
