Master student in the field of Airplane Doors Design (d/f/m)

  • Location: Donauwörth

  • Start: 01.04.2024

  • Duration: 6 months

Your Master Thesis will be about
  • Analyzing the state-of-the-art technology of airplane doors

  • Systematically describing all functional requirements

  • Analyzing the state-of-the-art technology outside aviation industry

  • Establishing a generic model (e.g. documentation of a functional diagram in a simulation tool or design of a simplified 3D model in Catia V5) for a modular door design

  • Integrating supplier and partner parts within the project

  • Implementing the most promising solutions in an overall concept for a modular door design concept including system integration

 

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Analysis of complex airplane door systems.

  • Definition and assessment of potential elements for future modular airplane door designs.

  • Contribution to future door systems in a team focused on research and technology.

 

 Desired skills and qualifications
  • Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the field of aerospace, mechanical engineering or comparable.

  • Knowledge and first experience in mechatronic systems.

  • Knowledge in CATIA V5 appreciated.

  • Language skills: Fluent in German and English.

  • Team player, communicative, autonomous way of working.
