Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance Division is seeking Structural Design Engineers for Phantom Works advanced aircraft development programs located in Hazelwood, MO.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced, and Senior Structural Design Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
Develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle
Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Manage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals
Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
Travel may be required up to 10 of the time
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Experience with 3D solid modeling software applications (e.g. NX, Catia, CADD)
(Level 3): 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
(Level 4): 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

(Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
(Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
(Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years related work experience, Master+7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range (Associate, level 2): 75,650 – 102,350
Summary pay range (Experienced, level 3): 90,100 – 121,900
Summary pay range (Senior, level 4): 113,050 – 152,950
