Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Air Dominance (AD) Phantom Works (PW) Engineering is seeking a motivated & experienced Senior Air Vehicle Engineering Technician to support a proprietary fixed-wing aircraft program, located in St. Louis, MO.

The ideal candidate in this position will be responsible for integration and execution of the Air Vehicle statement of work on an exciting fast paced program.  They will work with a multi-disciplinary team and multiple functions coordinating/integrating design, development, test, production, and procurement actions to meet program and customer goals.

As an Air Vehicle Engineering Technician on a PW program, you will partner with Air Vehicle and Program Leadership as a part of an integration team establishing the relationships, vision, strategy and planning necessary to execute the design, development, integration, and verification of the Air Vehicle statement of work.  Take the next step in your engineering journey and build upon your career at Boeing!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the planning, integration and execution of the Air Vehicle Statement of Work

  • Support/coordinate/execute procurement activity

  • Coordinate design solution activity amongst multiple groups

  • Partner with Air Vehicle Leadership maintaining day to day oversight of cost, schedule, and performance metrics including EVM duties

  • Establish and manage detail plans to support team goals

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and suppliers

  • Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5 or more years of experience in a Mechanical and/or Structural Engineering role

  • 3 or more years of engineering experience in the aerospace industry

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years related work experience, 8 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: 75,650 – 102,350
