Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems.
• Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
• Power systems / Module design
• Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
• Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field. It also requires 8+ years of job-related experience or a masters degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
• Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
• Circuit Design expertise
• Desired Experience in:
  • Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experiences from a few watts to KW+ converters.
  • Power System architecture and grounding
  • Transmission Line Effects in power systems
  • Magnetics Design
  • Feedback / Control systems experience
  • Power System architecture and grounding
  • Isolated Switching Converters
  • Transmission Line Effects in power systems
  • EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc.)
  • Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience is desirable.
