As a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer in the Quality Engineering team, where quality lies at the heart of our brand. Job Outline: 




  • Lead quality engineering design and implementation for multiple teams within an agile release train.




  • Oversee the technical design and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with modern quality engineering practices.




  • Act as a key decision-maker in planning and executing quality assurance strategies across all development stages.




  • Serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader for quality engineers, guiding them in best practices and automation.




  • Ensure quality engineering standards are created, implemented, and continuously improved within the release train.




  • Collaborate with leadership to eliminate inefficiencies and non-value-adding tasks, enhancing overall team productivity.




  • Champion modern testing practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).




  • Lead innovation in automation frameworks and tools to enhance delivery quality and reduce manual efforts.




  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence based on Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles.




  • Mentor and coach quality engineers, supporting their professional growth and technical development.




 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Information Technology: 8+ Years. Degree or Honours: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or relevant experience. 

  • Design and build scalable quality engineering solutions that align with the overall release train objectives.

  • Conduct technical design reviews and enforce adherence to architecture patterns that support modern quality engineering.

  • Plan and execute risk-based testing strategies that cover the entire development lifecycle.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and ensure consistent application across all agile teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality engineering into the delivery process.

  • Identify areas of improvement in quality processes and drive initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce lead times.

  • Ensure that automation is integrated into all aspects of testing, reducing manual intervention and human error.

  • Lead root cause analysis sessions to identify defects early and foster a culture of blameless post-mortems for continuous improvement.

  • Drive the adoption of agile practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and lean software development principles.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to quality engineers, facilitating their growth in technical expertise and agile methodologies.
