The opportunity

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Product Security Engineering (PSE) team in Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a career/experienced Product Security Engineer to provide technical support towards product cyber security certification of the 777 aircraft including current production 777, 777-9 ATC and various 777-9 customer introduction aircraft. The candidate will join a team supporting product cybersecurity certification efforts across multiple systems and subsystems for all these aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Lead, collaborate and coordinate with the BCA Product Security Team to successfully execute on all certification related activities.

• Work together with BCA PSE team and supplier to develop security assurance deliverables.

• Produce and/or review cybersecurity deliverables for a showing of compliance.

• Develop and support the development of complex technical risk assessments for avionics, OT (avionics) and ICT systems.

• Support BCA and suppliers in the development and certification of the cybersecurity function in the given product line

Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering (includes Electrical/Electronics Software and Systems Engineering) or computer science).

• 2+ years of experience in a role developing, leading, and executing projects and utilizing project processes / skills.

• Experience with aircraft avionics/electrical/software design, certification, integration, or related field

• Experience with aircraft avionics/electrical/software design, certification, integration, or related field

• Demonstrate an ability to analyse and understand the impacts of vulnerabilities on safety and security critical systems.

• Knowledge of DO326, DO356, DO355, DO178, DO254, DO160 standards.
