Job Description:
STS Aviation Services is rapidly growing and we are looking for new team members to join us on our journey to becoming the leading UK MRO. Position Overview: As a PART-145 Production Planner, you will be an integral part of the Operations Team, focusing on delivering aircraft and engine-related services to our expanding customer base. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer work packages for use in the maintenance environment, and for the return and recording of completed work packages. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Processing Work Packages: Timely and accurate conversion of customer-supplied work package paperwork into a format usable within the maintenance environment.
Work Pack Assessment: Full assessment of customer-supplied work packs to produce STS fully engineered work packs, including tooling requirements and external agency coordination.
System Import: Import customer-supplied work packages into the company computer system.
Document Management: Ensure all associated maintenance data, referenced proformas, cross-reference documents, and drawings are attached to the relevant work package.
Milestone Identification: Identify key milestones, including parts, tooling, and resource requirements for planned maintenance through PART-145 production planning.
Resource Coordination: Liaise with resources to ensure adequate manpower levels to accomplish the required workload.
Third-Party Coordination: Identify third-party requirements such as NDT, aircraft reweighs, and exterior cleaning.
Human Factors Consideration: Ensure task scheduling considers human factors issues.
Safety Task Identification: Identify safety-critical tasks, including CDCCL, independent inspections, EWIS, etc.
Work Package Updates: Ensure all late additions to work packages are raised correctly and entered on the pack index.
Audit: Perform a 100 audit of completed paperwork to ensure completeness.
Scanning and Return: Scan completed work packages and return them to the customer as required and within agreed SLA guidelines.
Support Check Managers: Assist Check Managers during maintenance inputs.
Procedural Audits: Work with the Check Manager to carry out procedural audits during maintenance, ensuring all tasks are completed and documented correctly.
Daily Meetings: Attend and contribute to daily meetings.
Pre-Input Meetings: Arrange and chair Pre-Input Meetings.
Additional Tasks: Undertake additional tasks as requested by the Planning Manager.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Thorough understanding of reporting tools, such as Excel and Word.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience:

Industry Experience: 5+ years in the Aerospace, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Construction sectors.
PART-145 Planning Experience: Previous experience in a PART-145 Planning environment is preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to aircraft maintenance.
