The Quality Engineer II isresponsible for driving quality improvement across multiple customer andsupplier accounts. You will be an individual contributor and required tocollaborate extensively with multiple functions, including operations,materials, procurement, ISC engineering, customer business teams and suppliers.  The individual contributor will workclosely with the sites Quality Director and Quality Engineering Manager to driveand execute improvement plans.  You willbe responsible for communication and report outs to site and in some instancesexternally to the customers, with a high level of executive-level visibility.

Summaryof Duties:
Site Quality focal for strategic business customers and/or suppliers.
Interfaces and leads cross-functional teams with Engineering, Suppliers, and factory to develop and execute site and customer Quality Improvement Plans.
Cultivate partner-style relationships with customers and suppliers on projects, timing, and measurement of results.
Report on and influence actions on quality performance indicators.
Identify quality improvement opportunities to increase defect detection and drive escape reduction.
Assist site and suppliers in reaching effective RCCA and drive systemic actions.
Provide day-to-day engagement for quality issues impacting customers.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

BasicQualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering, business, supply chain, technical or related discipline plus a minimum 2 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing or Quality; in lieu of degree will consider a minimum of 8 years of the same experience.
Due to export control restrictions, must be a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent resident
Quality Assurance/Supply Chain experience.
