Software Engineer - RTES

As a Software Engineer - RTES at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for the following:
- Operating, maintaining, updating/upgrading, supporting, and testing software.
- Developing and maintaining software design documents.
- Releasing applicable documentation.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or similar degree and meet the experience requirement or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum fifteen years in a technical role, working on software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.
- Ten years experience as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems)
- Five years experience in some applicable programming language such as the following: - JAVA - C++ or C - COBRA; J2EE - Perl - JavaScript - UNIX scripting languages - XML - HTML - Workflow tools such as JBoss or Weblogic - DOM - AJAX - Apache - Spring - Near real time processing - Collections systems - Network protocols and standards - GUI development - Mission management systems.
- Experience in Agile methods.
General Desired Experience:
- Integration and fielding of software and hardware
- Software support for integration and testing
- Maintenance of software in support of testing
- Upgrading end of life software
- Planning and scheduling experience in support of meeting deliverables and testing dates
- System configuration and lab operator support experience
- Experience upgrading software to handle new capabilities
- Experience managing shared software libraries to maintain system compatibility
- C++ experience
- Java graphical interface experience
- Experience with interface control documents and following requirements processes
- Experience updating software and hardware documentation
- Infrastructure upgrade and maintenance experience
- Experience maintaining a system’s Authority to Operate
- A minimum of 10 years experience as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, and integration
- Knowledge of common design patterns
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux
- Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
This position requires a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Summary Pay Range:

$129,000 - $230,000
