Description:Mid-career Reliability Engineer for THAAD program. The candidate will perform reliability efforts as part of the THAAD Interceptor Stockpile Reliability Program (SRP) on various Post Production contracts. Candidate will be on a team comprised of members from LM MFC, LM Space in Sunnyvale, CA and Huntsville, AL. Candidate is expected to bring lessons-learned from other MFC programs with the intent to enhance and improve reliability analysis, process, documentation, and reporting to the customer. Candidate is expected to interface with the customer as well as with personnel from DEVCOM.
Tasks include reviewing and updating the RAM-T Program Plan, as well as leading and guiding LM Space efforts associated with: Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) using the OASAS database, parametric analysis, pareto analysis, reliability assessments to support recertification intervals, testability and analyzing missile test results, Storage and Aging test results, and Scoring Conferences. Tasks also include supporting the THAAD OASAS WG by developing THAAD-specific reliability requirements for OASAS and interfacing with MFC Information Technology (IT).
The Candidate must be able to prepare and present information to management and customers. Experience with missile sustainment, stockpile health assessments, and reliability modules using OASAS is a plus.
Specific Job Description: Review/update the RAM-T Program Plan, support Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), parametric analysis, pareto analysis, reliability assessments, analyzing missile test results, scoring conferences, and developing THAAD-specific reliability requirements for OASAS.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance with 5-year background investigation.
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college (preferably in an engineering focused discipline OR equivalent experience/combined education.
• Must have at least 5 years of professional / hands-on experience.
• Experience with reliability Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and driving failure investigations to root cause and corrective action.
• Experience with performing reliability predictions using Windchill or like Software.
• Experience with the Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis process including a general understanding of circuit design and schematics.
• Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management.
• Secret clearance with current 5 year background check.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
• Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
• System and subsystem test experience to include Test Plan development, completing HALT and accelerated aging testing.
• Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
• Experience with Missile Systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
