We are passionate about innovation and developing the next generation of hardware electronics that Honeywell Aerospace runs on. We take great pride in developing electrical designs that are producible, reliable, low-cost, and compliant to performance requirements. The Platform Electrical Design team is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the EMC design team. In this technical leader role, you will be providing analysis through circuit simulation, EM modeling, and mathematical modeling for projects at different phases of design. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for decomposing specifications into lower-level requirements and matrix compliance, defining EMC test strategy & procedures, and maximizing EMC/EMI test coverage. Product design EMC reviews will be from the system level down to piece part performance and include leading troubleshooting during EMC/EMI testing. As a leader of the EMC domain, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating EMC project coverage with management, EMC peers and recommending assignments for teammates.

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen  due to contractual requirement

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 10+ years of experience working EMC designs and EMI fault resolution. 
  • 5+ years of experience in managing EMI / EMC programs.
  • Basic understanding but not necessarily mastery, of power supply, analog, digital, data bus, and RF circuits
  • In depth knowledge of DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 / 464 design and compliance methods
  • Experience in performing EM modeling with Mathcad, Spice or EMA3D
  • Willing to travel 10

WE VALUE

  • Experience with aerospace, space, and military designs
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Boeing and Airbus internal EMC test requirements
  • Past leadership experience and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Masters degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
