• Coordinate planning, organization, control,
integration and completion of engineering
projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Plan and formulate engineering programs;
review product design for compliance with
engineering principles, company standards,
customer contract requirements, and related
specifications.
• Evaluate and approve design changes,
specification and drawing releases.
• Coordinate activities concerned with technical
developments, scheduling, and resolving
engineering design and test problems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an
accredited college in Electrical Engineering or
related discipline, or equivalent
experience/combined education.
- Industry experience in the design of electrical
engineering projects to include but not limited to
power distribution and one-line diagrams.
- Interim Secret clearance required prior to start.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top
Secret clearance. Cannot be a dual citizen.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience with Lightning Protection and Grounding Systems (LP&GS) of DoD/military ordnance facilities and equipment
2. DDC (Direct Digital Control) experience
3. Experience in design, management, and implementation of facility/engineering projects from conception to completion.
4. Facilitating design reviews with and understanding of the adjudication and verification processes.
5. Familiarity with the MILCON process.
6. Experience on a missile related defense program, working directly with customer counterparts to resolve technical issues.
7. Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products: Statements of Work, Facility Design Criteria, Specification documents, and construction cost estimates.
8. General knowledge and understanding of related codes/standards. e.g.; NAVFAC Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) & Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), NFPA (70, 101, 780), OSHA, NAVSEA OP5, etc
9. Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
10. Proven experience creating work products for design, inspection and testing activities.
11. Experience integrating systems or equipment into existing process or space.
12. Demonstrated ability to coordinate/resolve technical issues across multiple teams/customers
13. Professional registration or licensure – current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)
14. Project Management and/or Construction Management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.
15. Understanding of the A&E design process and providing oversite of engineering design packages.
16. Experience generating and analyzing technical requirements and ability to translate to design.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
