Boeing Brazil is seeking Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer, reporting to the Hydraulic Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office. 


The Hydraulic Systems Engineer will work on the development phase of a new airplane.


Position Responsibilities:

•    Develop system requirements and define system architecture.
•    Develop or review hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications.
•    Ownership of component level design requirements.
•    Analyze system performance through modeling and simulation.
•    Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
•    Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
•    Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
•    Develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.
•    Research and development of technologies for potential future applications.


This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•    Experience working in one full-cycle development on hydraulic systems
•    Must have existing rights to work in Brazil 
•    Fluent in both written and verbal English
•    Graduated in Mechanical Engineering.
•    Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia – CREA). 


Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
•    Experience working on innovative environments
•    Experience working with integrated cross-functional teams
•    Project management skills

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
 

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
