We are seeking a Senior Instructional Design Specialist our client’s dynamic team in Miami, Florida, to enhance their training programs, specifically within the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP).

Position Summary:

The Senior Instructional Design Specialist is essential in developing high-quality instructional content and ensuring continuous improvement of the AQP training initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with Training Managers, Instructors, Evaluators, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure an exceptional training experience that complies with all FAA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine instructional materials for AQP, focusing on engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess training needs and integrate industry best practices.
  • Ensure all training content meets FAA compliance and AQP standards.
  • Utilize advanced tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate360 to create impactful training materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in Education, Instructional Design, Aviation, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least four years of training-related work experience, with two years in project management.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate360, and Microsoft Office 360.
  • Experience in applying Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with technical and compliance training; AQP design experience is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications (CPLP/CPTD, CPT, PMP, CQA, CQIA, CQPA) are preferred.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet and experience in project management are desirable.
  • Knowledge of FARs and Advisory Circulars is beneficial.
Special Demands:
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least 10 of the time.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends, as needed.

  • Excellent technical writing and coaching skills.
