Purpose of Position

Were looking for a Full-Stack Senior Engineer with a heavy focus on the latest AWS technologies to help us support this mission. Youll bring a core set of competencies - Adaptability, Collaboration, Curiosity, a Service-Oriented Mindset, and a Strive for Positive Results, along with a background in architecting and re-architecting microservices and integrating third party SaaS applications to help set the stage for our new platform; working directly with architects and other engineers to do so. While this role will be heavily backend and cloud focused, there will be involvement with React-based front-end development work as well.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Drive the design, analysis, and implementation of new services and integrations with 3rd party SaaS applications such as Genesys.&8239;
Collaborate with various internal teams like architecture, infrastructure operations, and cyber security to reach consensus on best patterns.
Automate, build, test, and deploy code and build pipelines
Establish automated quality control patterns - unit testing, automation, and security scanning best practices for code&8239;
Work in an agile team environment to iteratively delivery value
Bring others up to speed on your experience and knowledge - mentoring, code review, and helping your team grow&8239;

Education

Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Technology

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering field.
Experience with Genesys or other Call-Center-as-a-Service is a plus.
4-6 years of experience as a Software Engineer is required.
Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Typescript and/or Java.
1-2 years of working with React is a plus.
1-2 years of experience and working knowledge of AWS technologies such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Lambda. EventBridge and CDK.
Experience integrating 3rd party SaaS applications into existing software.
Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
