Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Manassas, VA is seeking Summer 2024 interns for Software and Systems Engineering. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy Programs.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent STEM field
-Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
-Academic or professional experience using Java, C++, C, Python, or similar programming languages.
-Operating systems development experience with Windows & Unix/Linux, including shell scripting, in academic or professional environment Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Systems Engineering, integration + Test)
-Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
-Basic understanding of Software configuration management, Software Development Methodologies, Systems Engineering and Full software life-cycle development
-Academic or Professional experience using MATLAB, Python, GitLab, SonarQube, Docker, Ansible, Virtualization (VMWare, etc.)
-Academic or professional experience in Database design and development/computer system administration
-High School STEM Scholar graduate demonstrating high performance across STEM curriculum.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
