Sr Design & Drafting Technician

Contract Position

Senior Advanced Design Drafting Technician job in McLeansville, North Carolina is available with Moseley Technical Services top Defense company. In this remote, work from home, telecommute job as a ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you will support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of two years’ experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
• Experience with library management practices.
• Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx.
• Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx).
• Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
• Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
• In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.
• Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)
