Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS). You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to develop program cost, schedules, and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•  Develop in-depth knowledge of all Honeywell Clover Site products and their technical design features and application.

•  Evaluate customer inquiries and specifications to determine the optimum cost-effective process or equipment design for the application.

•  Daily interaction with manufacturing to drive yield improvements on manufacturing of specialized polymer Gloves.  Data analysis capability - statistical analysis of the data to make decisions, data mining/manipulating and analyzing to develop reports and procedures.

•  Design equipment to match specifications or clearly define any differences or deviations (clarifications or exceptions list) to customers.

•  Knowledge and desire to know Automation Controls utilizing PLCs. 

•  Creation of all process feed/project deliverables in for new and existing process for project Engineers.

•  Create / review / comment on complex PFDs and P&IDs.

•  Create or Update SOPs to impact manufacturing 

•  Lead project process engineering including equipment and line sizing; mass balance and hydraulic calculations; process datasheets enabling selection of process equipment, pumps and blowers, manual, actuated and control valves, instruments.

•  Specification and sizing of process safety equipment including PSV and rupture/bursting discs.

•  Materials selection.

•  Lead or participate in PHAs and HAZOP analysis.

 

MUST HAVE:  

•  Bachelors degree in chemical engineering from an accredited institution.

•  Worked in a Chemical Manufacturing Environment in discipline for 3 -5 years. 

•  Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.

•  Ability to convey complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.

•  Knowledgeable in process design of equipment, including vessels, columns, heat exchangers and package process specifications for equipment and control valves.

WE VALUE:  

•  Working Knowledge of PSM environment

•  Alan Bradly PLC programing and controls understanding

•  Black belt or green belt
